About

Why We Started Visions Differently
Joshua and Laquita Butler were blessed with a baby boy in September 2018. We were both in love and enjoyed every moment and day that we watched him grow. After our son’s second birthday, we began to become concerned about his development. April 2021, our son was officially diagnosed with Autism. As parents, we were sad and felt that we had failed him. With the support of medical professionals, we managed to embrace his diagnosis and provide him with unconditional support by educating ourselves, participating in his treatment and advocating.

Our Mission
To bring awareness to autism, we decided to create a unique brand that provides meaningful, yet fashionable items for babies and toddlers on the spectrum as well as supporters. Visions Differently was designed for AUsome families. Our mission is for families to feel comfortable with embracing who they are and to understand that they are not alone. Having children on the spectrum can be challenging and requires a great deal of resources, so we have decided to donate a portion of our earnings to The Organization for Autism Research (OAR). Our donations are a token of our appreciation for our supporters and will help improve the quality of life for children on the spectrum.Â
